Wine-growing is a tradition for the Franzosi Family. It doesn’t exist an exact date of beginning of the activity, but we know for a fact that during the year 1938 the Grandfather Giovanni, who was from Polpenazze, settled the company in the center of the village of Puegnago. In the year 1971 he moved with his son Bruno to the actual site on the hills of Monte Aullo in order to satisfy the increasing market demand. In the meanwhile his products received many awards. The new modern firm was built in the middle of vineyards and wood with an underground cellar perfect for the ageing of wine.

The extent of the firm has increased from the initial 8 hectares to the present 30 hectares.
Nowadays the company is run by Bruno Franzosi, his sons Giovanni and Luigi and his daughter Paola. Giovanni is the Sales Manager, Luigi is the Cellar Manager (they are both agriculturists) while Paola is the Administrative Manager.

The 35-hectare hilly ground, at an altitude ranging from 100 to 300 metres, produces 3500 quintals of grapes. Other 6 hectares are planted with more than 1300 Leccino and Casaliva olive trees, which produce extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin olive oil D.O.P.(Protected Designation of Origin).
